On most conditions, simultaneous interpretation is facilitated by acoustic equipment. Interpreters work in an attached room to conference hall and listeners should use earphones. On some other occasions, no acoustic equipment is needed, and it is called whisper interpretation, that is, interpreters sit beside listeners and translate simultaneously in a whisper.
