Criteria of translators

Translation is a process of reproduction. For the standards of “faithfulness, expressiveness, and elegance” in translation, translators are supposed to have systematic training background, rich professional experience, broad knowledge base and meticulous and conscientious attitude.

Our criteria of translators include:

·Systematic training of one foreign langue plus excellent Chinese;
·Relevant professional background of certain specialty;
·3 year + full or part-time translation experience;
·Preferably overseas education and career background;
·Attitude and professionalism.

Strict assessment of language levels and special knowledge applies to all new recruits. After recruitment, regular assessment applies to all translators.

Presently, besides full-time translators, we have a rich talent tank of diverse disciplinary backgrounds, including international experts, special translators from governmental departments, overseas compatriot talents, professors, translators from army and TNCs. They boast not only abundant experience, but also special knowledge in certain.? Most of them are holders of advanced translator or translation reviewer, and Master and PhD degrees.
